Whilst the overriding benefit of Heat Shield is its reduction in surface temperature, we are pleased to say that there are many more value added benefits that now come as standard with our new doors.

Scratch / Abrasion Resistance
Heat Shield veneers are a massive 17 times thicker than hot stamp veneers, which hugely reduce the chances of the panels being scratched or damaged when installing them into the outerframe. Life cycle test clearly indicate heat shield out performs other veneers on the market.

Embossed Finish
All panels are supplied with an embossing which exactly matches the equivalent wood grain veneer present on window profile and roof line profile. This embossing effect is both visible to the eye whilst boasting a texture you can feel. The present hot stamp veneer sheet available in the market today, whilst having an embossed appearance, is in fact an effect built into the print, which is visible but not evident by touch.

BBA Accreditation
All Heat Shield foils have been tested by the BBA for weathering performance in
moderate and hot/dry climates, colour stability under QUVA abrasion resistance along with gloss retention after UV aging.
